Me
I am a stay at home mom of 4 who homeschools, quilts, sews, organizes, reads, bikes, and according to my husband also sits around all day eating bonbons and watching soap operas. I go with the flow except when it goes against my grain and I shun usually accepted conventions like sugar and shoes…except my strappy pink heels which are too cute to shun. Thanks for visiting. I spend most of my day talking to people under 6 so please comment so I feel like I know some adults.

Love your blog! Thanks for visiting mine. I’m so impressed that you have read all of that classical literature. Are you following a list?
Barefoot says: Thanks. I have always preferred classics to anything else and haven’t followed a list but am now have a goal of working through the Harvard list and the Great Books list.
I found you! I was hoping to see a picture of a new baby…or a newly converted kitchen for your sweet little girl! I don’t see either one, so I’ll send you the pics of the kitchen we have. See ya soon!
You are converting your kitchen for Pretty Girl?
Barefoot says: See this post
If you haven’t already, you must read “The Quilt-Maker’s Gift” a beautiful children’s book with a great story and gorgeous illustrations. Also read, “The Quilt-Maker’s Journey.”
I enjoy your posts. I’m a HS mom of 2 (ages 11& 13). I’ve sent them off on a bike ride today because the weather is perfect here in Texas, and I’d like a break.
