National Education Association’s (NEA) Read Across America initiative. This reading motivation and awareness program calls for every child to celebrate reading on or around Dr. Seuss’s birthday, March 2

April 12, the birthday of beloved children’s book author Beverly Cleary, has been declared National Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) Day! Participating in D.E.A.R. Day is a wonderful way to encourage children to read more.

Take 25 on May 25. Put child safety at the top of your to-do list in honor of National Missing Children’s Day, hosted annually by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children®.
