By the time I graduated from high school there were 72 Newbery Medal books and I had read 7. I unwittingly read another 5 since then. What kind of books was I assigned to read in school if not Newbery award books? I aim to have my kids read the whole lot by the end of childhood.

Thanks for these lists with the newberry and Caldecott books. I’m always looking for quality books for the girls. I was impressed that I could check off so many of those books. I still have so many more to go though.
